Installation

As many of the new trucks no longer have holes inside the bed of the truck that align with the stake pockets, I recommend drilling a hole on each side of the box so you can install a bolt and washer that I include in the package. I have threaded holes on the inside of the stake pocket legs for these bolts. The bolts will A. help reduce theft of the rack, and B. fasten the rack to your truck so it doesn’t fly off in the case of an accident. These bolts are in an easy location to remove so you can remove the rack to load tall items.
